Welwyn & District History Society
The Welwyn and District History Society was formed in 1999 to record,promote and encourage the study of the area’s rich history.
As well as holding a large archive of material, the Society offers talks from invited speakers and visits to local places of interest.
Where possible we are happy to help with enquiries relating to the local history of the region and its families. We are always happy to receive new information to expand the knowledge of Welwyn and it’s people.
